- Strategic Cost Management: Develop and implement cost management strategies to enhance financial efficiency and ensure Filinvest projects are delivered within budget, setting the company as a benchmark for cost effectiveness in the industry.
- Lead Quantity Surveying Activities: Oversee detailed project cost estimates, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives.
- Operational Excellence and Process Improvement: Continuously refine cost planning processes to improve efficiency, leveraging innovative practices and technologies.
- Strategic Direction and Department Leadership: Craft and communicate a compelling vision for the cost planning function, translating strategic goals into actionable plans that drive operational and team performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure cohesive and transparent cost management practices.
- Team Leadership and Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead the cost planning team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Innovation in Cost Planning: Stay ahead of industry trends, applying new tools and methodologies to maintain Filinvests competitive edge in cost efficiency.
- Champion Cost-Effectiveness: Lead Filinvests mission to become the most cost-effective builder, through rigorous market analysis, benchmarking, and the implementation of cost optimization initiatives.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certification (e.g., RICS, CIQS) is highly desirable.
- At least 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and cost management, with significant leadership experience in commercial real estate development.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic cost efficiency plans.
- Advanced proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
- Strategic thinker with a strong focus on operational efficiency and cost savings.
