DescriptionJob SummaryThe Senior Sales Specialist - AC are responsible for sales of Automation and Communication (AC) business within Grid Automation business unit in accordance with strategy. As an individual contributor, the incumbent is also responsible to building long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues.This role is based in Paranaque City, Philippines.Your responsibilities:Support and grow sales within Automation (Substation Protection and Control) and Communication in Philippines, supporting full sales process from promotion, product homologation, distributor channel development and direct sales to utility and industry customers.Create added value for the customer and Hitachi Energy and ensure the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques, communicate details in accordance with Hitachi Energy offering and strategy.Prepare sales plans using company tools, perform regular status reviews and proposes recovery plan(s) in cases of potential order shortfalls, identify sales opportunities and use CRM tool to record and share and lead direct relation / communication with customers and involve in lead negotiation.Ensure most competitive offer considering the market situation and customer’s conditions, identify which approach (e.g. direct sales, consortium, or channel) can be applied to better serve the customer and support bid/no bid analyses and decisions and participate in project risk review processes.Involve in externally: Direct relations with customers, channel partners, distributors, potential third-party suppliers and internally: Account managers, Bid and Proposal team, Solution line specialists, Country and Regional management.Lead, drive and accountable for the highest standards of health, safety and environment to ensure zero harm is achieved, responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up, build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within the team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken and create a workplace where everyone views health, safety and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.Living the Hitachi Energy's core values of safety, Quality, and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your background:Degree in Engineering/trade qualifications – Electrical or equivalent.Ten (10) years of relevant experience required.Experience across Electrical Industry within Utilities, Power T&D or Power Systems projects, especially in Substation Automation & Communication is an advantage.Advanced computer skills across MS Office, MS Teams, Outlook, SharePoint and sales skillset.Self-starter and self-motivated.Expresses opinions, able to work with multiple stakeholders and positions.Good written and verbal English communication skills, high attention to detail.
