- Review contracts, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Suggest corrections and alternations for legal agreements/ contracts.
- Conduct legal research on matters related to employment or commercial law.
- Analyze legal issues and provide valuable insights to support decision-making processes.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence.
- Ensure the accessibility and integrity of legal files.
- Stay abreast of changes in employment and commercial laws to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Assist in developing and implementing processes to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, external legal entities, and clients.
- Collaborate with team members to facilitate smooth legal operations.
- Provide administrative support if needed
- Possess a legal degree from an accredited institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a legal assistant role.
- Specialized knowledge and practical experience in employment or commercial law.
- Proven experience in drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts.
- Strong legal research and analytical skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of concepts about SaaS licensing, software SOWs, escrow, IP is a big plus.
- High proficiency in English.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in legal documentation.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a legal team.
