Inviting applications for the role of Consultant, DevOps Engineer!
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability and performance of our application environments. You will leverage monitoring and observability tools to perform deep-dive analysis and manage incidents effectively, minimizing business impact through timely resolutions.
Responsibilities
- Utilize monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, SumoLogic, or Dynatrace to analyze application and system logs.
- Perform initial triage and investigation during incidents, providing resolutions or recommendations to minimize business impact.
- Read and understand application code (both front-end and back-end) to aid in troubleshooting and debugging efforts.
- Collaborate with development teams using Git platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Identify and implement opportunities for improvement and automation within the environment management processes.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, SumoLogic, or Dynatrace.
- Incident management experience, particularly at L1 and L2 levels.
- Ability to read and understand application code for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP for checking service health and logs.
- Experience with container platforms such as Docker or Kubernetes for basic application troubleshooting.
- Understanding of scripting languages like Python or Bash for automation scripts.
