- Manage and maintain general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial information
- Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoice preparation and payment processing
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports for management review
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper recording of financial transactions
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records in compliance with company policies and regulations
- Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and tax regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in General Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and advanced Excel skills
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting and analysis techniques
- Experience with general ledger management, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Familiarity with bank reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
- Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
- Knowledge of Philippine Accounting Standards (PAS) and Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS)
- Understanding of local tax laws and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
