This role provides significant exposure to various departments and offers a chance to deepen your understanding of a global semiconductor company's financial operation.What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):Cost & Inventory Analysis & Reporting:Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual cost and inventory variance analyses and provide detailed explanations.Coordinate cost and inventory variance analyses with other sections and departments to ensure accuracy and alignment.Review and compute the cost of scrapped lots in Non-Conformance Reporting Action Item (NAI).Review and approve costing in Material Inventory Scrap Review (MISR) requests.Prepare monthly tape and reel analysis.Prepare monthly raw material consumption analysis.Prepare monthly Business Unit (BU) Reclass for Inventory-related accounts.Conduct verification of monthly Polar RMA status with the Device Yield Enhancement (DYE) team.Perform quarterly R&D lot reviews.Perform monthly freight accrual.Inventory System Management & Control:Responsible for month-end closing and opening of the inventory period in the Oracle system.Responsible for setting up standard costs and revaluation of raw material, supplies, and spare parts in the Oracle system.Coordinate and participate in physical inventory and weekly cycle counts.Observe counts and assist in inventory count reconciliation.Perform quarterly random verification of on-hold lots or inventories for proper disposition.Monitor PHA lot(s) with negative quantity(ies) and coordinate with the Logistics team for required Oracle transactions (AMPI).Recommend inventory system enhancements to improve efficiency and control.Ensure compliance with SOX policies and processes related to cost variance analyses.Project Support & Other Duties:Support project responsibilities on changes related to cost accounting and inventory management.Support ad-hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned.Who You Are (Qualifications/Desired Skills):Education: Bachelor of Science in Accountancy.Certification: CPA license is an advantage but not required.Experience:At least one year of relevant work experience in Inventory.Financial Acumen:Working knowledge of the entire finance functions.A firm grasp of all accounting functions.Ability to execute financial controls effectively.Working knowledge of Philippine local finance and accounting practices (if applicable to the location).Abreast with industry practices.Key Attributes:Keen on details and can clearly explain them.
