Share the results, suggestions, and action plans of the vetting process with the appropriate parties, such as the operations, fleet management, vessel masters, and charterers.
Communicate with industry stakeholders and charterers to learn about their particular screening needs and to resolve any issues or questions.6. Inspection Prior to Voyage and Guarantee of Compliance:
Pre-voyage inspections should be carried out to make sure that the vessels meet the requirements for screening before they reach particular ports, terminals, or charter agreements.
Arrange for the appropriate remedial measures to take care of any found shortcomings and guarantee adherence.7. Response to Emergencies and Crisis Handling:
Support the creation and upkeep of vetting-related emergency reaction plans to guarantee readiness to manage crises throughout the vetting procedure.Arrange and take part in vetting-related emergency drills and exercises.8. Education and Training:
Train and advise necessary shore-based staff and vessel crews on vetting procedures, standards, and best practices.
Share expertise across the organisation and keep up with the most recent vetting requirements.9. Management of Budgets:
Support the creation and administration of budgets for compliance and screening initiatives, making sure that resources are allocated as efficiently and affordably as possible.Education and Qualifications:
- A CoC Class 2 or higher
- A degree in Navigation similar maritime degree
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position with exposure to Rightship
- DPA certification
