Key Responsibilities Implementation & Configuration Lead and execute end-to-end SAP Payroll implementations (Blueprint Realization Testing Go-Live Support) Configure payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules), and wage types Set up payroll processes including gross-to-net calculations, deductions, benefits, and retro calculations Requirements & Design Gather and analyze business and statutory payroll requirements Translate requirements into functional specifications and system design Provide best-practice recommendations aligned with SAP standards Compliance & Localization Ensure payroll configuration complies with local statutory regulations (tax, social security, etc.) Handle country-specific payroll localization (e.g., Philippines, APAC, EMEA) Integration Work closely with other SAP HCM modules: Personnel Administration (PA) Organizational Management (OM) Time Management (TM) Integrate with Finance (FI) and external systems (banks, tax authorities, third-party vendors) Testing & Deployment Execute and support: Unit Testing Integration Testing User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Perform payroll parallel runs and validation Support cutover activities and go-live execution Support & Optimization Provide post-go-live support and issue resolution Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and system defects Implement enhancements and continuous improvements Documentation & Training Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents, and test scripts Conduct end-user training and knowledge transfer sessions Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, HR, or related field Minimum 5+ years of SAP Payroll experience Proven experience in at least 1-2 full-cycle SAP Payroll implementations Strong hands-on experience in: Payroll schemas and PCRs Wage type configuration Payroll processing and troubleshooting Solid understanding of HR and payroll business processes Preferred Qualifications Experience with SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) SAP HCM / Payroll certification Exposure to multi-country payroll implementations Experience in consulting or client-facing roles
