The Financial Planner & Analyst is responsible for leading the planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for Decathlon Philippines, with a strategic focus on People, Planet, and Profit (PPP) value creation. This role involves influencing strategic decisions, driving business forecasting competence, and translating retail operational needs into financial and extra-financial consequences and solutions. Ultimately, the analyst provides critical decision support through performance analysis, reporting, and financial modeling to ensure optimized, data-driven outcomes in the short and medium term.Responsibilities:Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting for People, Planet and Profit Value Creation
  • Helping the BU/Retail Leader to build a business plan of his strategy, including store network performance and commercial priorities, and work together to achieve the goals.
  • Influencing and driving the strategic decisions in the company with an accurate budgeting of PPP value creation.
  • Leading, developing and securing the business forecasting competence to the business team for analysis & understanding of performance and for optimized decision-making.
  • Identifying and understanding the risks and business challenges for the planning.
People, Planet and Profit Performance Management & Reporting
  • Enlightening the business decision, by using financial and extra-financial real time data, on the day to day retail business cases and store-level P&Ls.
  • Aligning with the country strategy, ability to translate retail operational needs into financial and extra-financial consequences and solutions.
  • Providing user-friendly business information to allow for analysis, understanding of PPP performance and for making optimized decisions in short and medium term.
  • Playing an active role in risk management with your BU leader.
Decision Support for People, Planet and Profit Value Creation
  • Making modeling for facilitating the decision-making process such as store investment return (ROI) and new business model feasibility.
  • Preparing the business for the future with the trusted business advisories.
  • Identifying and understanding business challenges; propose and create solutions by embracing innovation, new technologies and market dynamics.
What You Need to Succeed:
  • Sportive! You are passionate about sports.
  • Business Acumen: You have relevant working experience in financial planning and modeling, accounting, performance analysis and value management, and business process improvement.
  • Organizational and analytical skills: You are good at structuring complex workflows to transform chaotic information into a disciplined, actionable roadmap.
  • Storytelling: You are excellent at distilling complex operational challenges into a clear financial narrative by asking targeted questions that reveal the "why" behind the data, ensuring the resulting story aligns with stakeholder needs and drives decisive action.
