
Software QA Analyst

- Design, execute, and maintain test plans and test cases for insurance product configurations.
- Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing across different products and regions.
- Support release activities by validating bug fixes and performing smoke tests in staging and production environments.
- Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria.
- Analyze change impacts on system functionality and identify potential requirement gaps.
- Use internal tools to validate data flows, business rules, and system behavior.
- Log, track, and retest defects to ensure timely and complete resolution.
- Contribute to QA process improvement and ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Document testing procedures and results in Confluence to support future test cycles.
- Generate test reports and summaries for internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communicator, fluent in English (minimum B2 level), and comfortable working with distributed teams.
- Willingness to learn QA tools and concepts (e.g., Jira, TestRail, defect management).
- Ability to analyze logs, detect anomalies in system behavior, and report bugs clearly.
- Familiarity with XML, JSON, SQL, or scripting languages is a plus.
- Willing to work shifts that overlap with UK business hours.
- Experience in QA or software testing, ideally within the insurance or financial services domain.
- Strong grasp of QA methodologies, test planning, and issue tracking tools like Jira or TestRail.
- Comfortable performing regression and integration testing in complex systems.
- Able to write and maintain detailed test cases and execute test plans independently.
- Practical experience with data validation and working with XML, JSON, or SQL.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote setup.
