Accountable for the planning function on allocated project/ tender. Accountable for ensuring that projects/ tenders are effectively planned, scheduled and monitored. Supports Project Management function in delivery of the project/ tender, as required. ensuring they are delivered on time and profitably. Responsible for the planning of medium to high complexity projects, a portfolio projects or sections of larger projects.THE ROLE
- Leads application of specific planning/scheduling methods, techniques and tools.
- Develop the WBS and alignment of other Breakdown structures.
- Develop the WBS dictionary in support of the Baseline book.
- Ability to advise on complex requirements and communicate analysis and corrective measures effectively.
- Ability to play key role in multidisciplinary teams and take lead role in creating plans or analyzing trends using numerical and statistical techniques.
- Leads and manages a team of professionals delivering planning/schedule management services and responsible for staff development.
- Production and control of cost and resource loaded baseline and current schedule, utilising approved work breakdown structures and techniques.
- Adherence to scheduling and project control standards across the project.
- Overseeing and ensuring schedules are updated to an agreed timeframe.
- Support cost control, risk and change management teams where appropriate.
- Support the production of monthly reports through the provision of intelligent information and analysis.
- Producing analysis of trends, generating performance indicators and providing feedback on areas of risk and opportunities.
- Analysis and integration of schedules provided by contractors and suppliers.
- Establish and foster working relationships with all appropriate stakeholders pursuant to the discharging of your responsibilities or in aid of theirs
- Liaise with other departments and foster and practice client team values.
- Responsible for supporting schedule management and reporting for the program – including cost and earned value reporting and management.
- Provide ad hoc support to the wider Project Controls function to develop the capability of the team using knowledge from wider experience.
- Adherence to the current monthly Project Controls cycle and processes and support with any future development.
- Good working knowledge of planning/scheduling, EVM, project controls methodologies
- Highly developed primavera P6 skills
- Strong competence and proven ability in Planning & Schedule Management.
- Proven facilitation/presenting skills.
- Experience working in large projects/programs.
- Good communication skills.
- Must be amenable to be assigned in any of the following work locations: Rizal or Laguna
