The Remote Accountant (TRA) is an innovative BPO in the Philippines that specialises in connecting great people with great Australian Businesses. We have a New Zealand-based client looking to set up an offshore team. The client is an accounting practice primarily working with SMEs and charitable trusts. They do a wide range of work from preparing financials for tax clients and non-tax clients to month-to-month reporting. They are looking for a highly skilled tax and management accountant who has excellent communication skills and is looking for a long-term career in accounting. This role is 100% remote (work-from-home). Minimum Experience: You must have a minimum of 3-4 years of proven work experience as a tax compliance accountant working for a New Zealand accounting firm. The role includes: Preparation of P&L statements, balance sheets and depreciation schedules for business clients Preparation and lodgement of Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships Review of client accounting records in Xero to provide accurate and timely management reports Assisting with a range of taxation matters including FBT, CGT, income tax and GST Assisting with some bookkeeping duties and clients with tax planning and GST Management reporting as required including annual budget preparation and reporting through a 3rd party software and providing narration and advice as required.
