We’re looking for a talented and passionate Midweight Motion Designer to join our growing creative team at hosting.com. You will play a key role in bringing stories to life through animation, video, and visual effects across multiple platforms. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with solid motion design experience who’s ready to push their creativity and take on more responsibility.Key Responsibilities
- Create high-quality motion graphics and animations for digital campaigns, social media, product explainers, and branded content
- Collaborate with art directors, designers, copywriters, and marketing teams to develop and execute visual concepts
- Animate 2D/3D assets, typography, and visual elements in line with brand guidelines and project goals
- Edit and enhance video footage with motion design, sound design, and visual effects as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and attention to detail
- Contribute to ideation sessions and creative development with proactive input
- Stay up to date with design trends, techniques, and best practices in motion graphics and animation
- 3–5 years of experience in a motion design or animation role
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially After Effects, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Experience with video editing tools like Premiere Pro (or Final Cut Pro)
- Strong understanding of animation principles and timing
- A keen eye for design, composition, colour, and typography
- Basic 3D skills using Cinema 4D, Blender, or similar (a plus, but not essential)
- Excellent communication and time-management skills
- Ability to take direction and constructive feedback, and work independently when required
- A portfolio or showreel demonstrating a strong range of motion design work
- Experience in sound design or music editing
- Familiarity with Figma or other UI/UX tools
- Knowledge of scripting/expressions in After Effects
- Experience working within a brand or in an agency environment
- Competitive salary 55K-75K annually
