About The Role The Training Specialist is responsible for coordinating and delivering effective onboarding experiences for new employees across Point. This role focuses on scheduling training sessions, preparing materials, and providing hands-on support throughout the onboarding process. The Training Specialist ensures new hires receive consistent, timely, and comprehensive training while collaborating with various departments to create a seamless integration experience for employees joining the company. Your Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule all new hire onboarding sessions, including orientation, compliance training, and role-specific training modules. Develop and maintain the onboarding calendar, ensuring optimal utilization of training resources and subject matter expert availability. Prepare and distribute training materials, equipment, and resources needed for successful onboarding sessions. Facilitate orientation sessions and basic training modules for new employees. Coordinate with department managers and subject matter experts to schedule specialized training components. Track completion of required onboarding activities and follow up on outstanding items. Collect and analyze feedback from new hires to continuously improve the onboarding experience. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, completion, and assessment results. Provide direct support to new employees navigating their onboarding journey, serving as their primary point of contact for training-related questions. Collaborate with HR and department leaders to regularly update onboarding content and ensure alignment with organizational needs. About You 2+ years of experience in training, employee development, HR, or operations Skilled at coordinating onboarding or training programs and managing schedules Comfortable using learning management systems, scheduling tools, and Google Workspace Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail Excellent communicator with a welcoming, people-first approach Able to manage multiple priorities and cohorts in a fast-paced environment Collaborative and service-oriented, with a focus on creating positive new hire experiences Bonus: Background in adult learning, teaching, or instructional design This role requires in-office presence during onboarding weeks to provide direct, hands-on support to new employees and facilitate face-to-face training sessions.
