  • Develop and maintain detailed conveyance design drawings utilising MicroStation CAD software in accordance with Region of Peel CAD Standards
  • Provide technical support to design teams for asset relocation, asset tagging, connection drawings, Plans & Profiles, and standard drawing production
  • Conduct comprehensive clash analysis using Navisworks to identify and resolve design conflicts across multi-disciplinary projects
  • Manage and coordinate wet utility design projects (Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent, and Sewerage networks) incorporating both gravity and pressure system design methodologies
  • Utilise Common Data Environment platforms (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC) to ensure effective collaboration and data management across project teams
  • Lead project delivery activities, coordinate with Lead Office stakeholders, mentor junior engineers, and ensure adherence to quality assurance standards and project timelines
  • Conduct design reviews and validation checks to ensure all deliverables meet client specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation, design reports, and regulatory compliance submissions for wet utility infrastructure projects
Qualifications
  • Master's in Civil / Water Resources / Environment / PHE
  • 5-8 years of experience in MicroStation-based drafting for civil or wet utility projects including Gravity & Pressure network.
  • Preferable to have or working towards Professional Qualification such as C.Eng. (ICE) or C.Eng. (IET) or C.CIWEM.
  • Should have experience using MicroStation Connect Edition software & Open Road Designer software in specific to Wet Utilities Design. Like Plan & Profiles.
  • Should/preferable to have working experience of Region of Peel CAD Standards. Particularly, MicroStation CAD Standards.
  • Should have experience working on Wet Utility/Conveyance Design Projects. Canada Experience is preferable.
  • Working experience on ROP & COT MicroStation Seed files would be preferable.
  • Familiarity with Bentley OpenRoads Designer workflows is an advantage.
  • Wet Utilities - Potable Water, Storm Water Drainage, Treated Sewage Effluent & Sewerage network (pressure plus gravity design experience with the help of AutoCAD 2D, AutoCAD Civil3D, Open Roads & MicroStation)
  • Provide technical support to designers for relocation/shifting of assets, asset tagging, connection drawings, Plan & Profiles, standard drawings etc.
  • Clash Analysis experience using Navisworks
  • Experience in working in Common Data Environment (ProjectWise, BIM 360, ACC)
  • Capable for leading the project, coordinating with Lead Office, mentoring juniors and ensuring quality checks
