Job Description This is a remote position. Job Summary: The Content Editor is responsible for ensuring the team creates content that meets or exceeds Scorpion's quality requirements. The role entails using a comprehensive style guide and grading rubric to evaluate content produced for Scorpion clients across all supported verticals. Reviews will look at the most important elements of different content types, and scores will be issued based on the overall quality and value of the page. The right candidate will have a strong command of the English language, including grammar and diction, and a demonstrated ability to evaluate the accuracy, strategy, and technique of content produced by both internal and external writers. Responsibilities: Edit 10% of each employee's monthly body of work to ensure quality standards are upheld on a regular and ongoing basis (approximately 10 pages/mo per employee) Daily completion of employees' Quality Score Cards Requirements 1+ year(s) of content development experience or equivalent 1+ year(s) of professional editing experience Personal and/or professional writing portfolio/website Typing speed of 60 wpm or higher Must be able to edit (and write) at scale, and provide meaningful feedback / coaching to your direct reports Strong organizational, time-management, and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize and balance multiple tasks throughout the day Demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to help others do the same, even in tough circumstances Must have Fiber Optic internet with at least 25 Mbps bandwidth Must have a backup desktop or laptop with the latest OS Must be able to work from 11PM-8AM Benefits WHAT WE OFFER: Great Place to Work-Certified Company Premium HMO Holistic employee experience Work-from-home and hybrid work setup Rewards and incentives Monthly engagement activities Career advancement opportunities Paid referral program
