Location : Calamba City, Laguna, Philippines Job Position: * QAQC (Electric) Officer Mid Senior & Associate level Provide guidance to the QAQC team, ensuring all members understand their roles and responsibilities. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote a culture of quality excellence. Develop and implement quality management plans, policies, and procedures. Evaluate and select suppliers and sub-contractors based on their quality and performance track record. Establish and maintain effective communication channels with suppliers and sub-contractors to address quality-related issues. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards. Participate in the tender process by reviewing contractor proposals and assessing their ability to meet quality requirements. Develop comprehensive quality criteria for evaluation and selection of contractors. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment of quality expectations. Develop and implement the Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QAQC) plan for the construction. Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements. Establish and maintain effective QAQC processes and procedures throughout the project lifecycle. Coordinate and perform inspections and tests to verify compliance with quality standards. Review design drawings, specifications, and technical documents to identify and resolve potential quality issues. Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality objectives are met. Monitor construction activities to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary corrective actions. Conduct regular audits and assessments to assess and improve project quality performance. Track and report quality indicators and metrics to project leadership and stakeholders. Manage non-conformance and deviation processes, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions. Collaborate with relevant parties to resolve quality-related issues and ensure timely resolution. Provide guidance and support to project teams on QAQC matters, promoting a strong quality culture. Liaise with regulatory authorities and clients on quality-related matters Establish and maintain strong relationships with the client, ensuring open communication and addressing any quality concerns. Provide regular updates to the client on the progress of quality assurance activities. Manage client expectations regarding quality standards and delivery timelines Recruit, train, and mentor the QAQC team members. Ensure effective resource allocation and workload distribution within the team. Implement performance management processes to ensure high-quality deliverables. Identify areas for improvement in quality control and quality assurance processes. Research and implement innovative technologies and techniques to enhance quality management. Proactively identify and address potential risks that may impact project quality. Qualification and Experience Bachelor&aposs degree in Electric engineering or a related field. Quality management certification (e.g., ISO 9001 Lead Auditor). Project management certification (e.g., PMP). Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control/assurance roles in the construction industry. Experience in managing quality aspects of large-scale renewable construction projects. Strong knowledge of relevant industry codes, standards, and regulations. Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Preferred Skills Comprehensive understanding of quality management principles and methodologies. Proficient in using quality control tools and techniques. Knowledge of construction processes, including civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines.
