- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for mid-management and lower-level positions in the United States.
- Conduct interviews, facilitate the hiring process, and manage onboarding activities for US-based employees.
- Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and plan recruitment initiatives.
- Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative work environment for both Philippines and US-based employees.
- Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
- Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and suggest improvements based on feedback.
- Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for both local and US-based employees.
- Provide guidance and support to managers in handling performance-related issues.
- Identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities
- Work closely with managers to assess performance issues and, if necessary, manage the termination process in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Ensure all terminations are conducted professionally and with proper documentation.
- Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines and the United States and ensure the company's compliance.
- Manage employee documentation and records to meet legal requirements for both locations.
- Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, for both local and US-based employees.
- Communicate benefits information to employees and assist in resolving benefit-related inquiries.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or any related field.
- With at least more than 5-8 years of relevant experience in HR management roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- With strong knowledge and understanding of Philippine and US labor laws and regulations
- Knowledge of US labor laws and regulations is highly advantageous.
- Working in a startup company is highly advantageous.
- HR certifications is a plus.
