They are proud to say that their customers trust them with their valuable possessions, and they always strive to provide them with the best possible moving experience.Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:The HR Manager will be responsible in fostering a positive work culture, managing all the human resources facets and supports the overall strategic objectives of the organization.The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and other HR-related activities to ensure a high-performing and engaged workforce. Additionally, this role will involve handling the HR processes for mid-management and lower-level employees based in the United States.Duties and Responsibilities:Recruitment and Staffing:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent for mid-management and lower-level positions in the United States.
  • Conduct interviews, facilitate the hiring process, and manage onboarding activities for US-based employees.
  • Collaborate with department heads to forecast staffing needs and plan recruitment initiatives.
Employee Relations:
  • Foster positive employee relations by addressing concerns, resolving conflicts, and promoting a collaborative work environment for both Philippines and US-based employees.
  • Implement and enforce HR policies and procedures to ensure fair and consistent treatment of all employees.
  • Conduct regular employee feedback sessions and suggest improvements based on feedback.
Performance Management:
  • Lead the performance management process, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans for both local and US-based employees.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers in handling performance-related issues.
  • Identify training and development opportunities to enhance employee skills and capabilities
Termination and Documentation:
  • Work closely with managers to assess performance issues and, if necessary, manage the termination process in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Ensure all terminations are conducted professionally and with proper documentation.
Compliance and Legal:
  • Stay abreast of labor laws and regulations in the Philippines and the United States and ensure the company's compliance.
  • Manage employee documentation and records to meet legal requirements for both locations.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel as needed to address HR-related legal matters.
Benefits Administration:
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other perks, for both local and US-based employees.
  • Communicate benefits information to employees and assist in resolving benefit-related inquiries.
RequirementsSkills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources management, business administration or any related field.
  • With at least more than 5-8 years of relevant experience in HR management roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Experienced in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • With strong knowledge and understanding of Philippine and US labor laws and regulations
Advantageous:
  • Knowledge of US labor laws and regulations is highly advantageous.
  • Working in a startup company is highly advantageous.
  • HR certifications is a plus.
