- Collaborate with other pricing actuaries and cross-functional business partners to rollout new programs/products and revise existing products & rate plans.
- Perform rate indication, impact analysis and competitor research to help develop rate plan.
- Maintain and enhance various tools and processes with programming applications (e.g. SQL, Snowflake, Python, VBA) to improve efficiency, scalability and speed-to-market.
- Learn and Understand Property & Casualty insurance products and actuarial concepts/techniques
- Demonstrated interest in actuarial science and insurance; no experience required.
- Technical skills: Proficient with MS Excel/Word/ PowerPoint; basic database skills; working knowledge of SQL or Python preferred.
- Communication: both oral and written communication including presentations and marketing
- Collaboration: Able to effectively collaborate with cross-functional business partners
- Efficiency: Strong productivity, organizational and priority/time management skills
