Job Description Assists the BPI WEALTH AML & FATCA Compliance Head or the Immediate Supervisor, in supporting the business in their identification, assessment, measurement, mitigation and monitoring of AML & FATCA regulatory compliance and risks matters; as well as providing support in ensuring the implementation of policies and programs to ensure activities within BPI Group are in compliance with internal and external requirements. Responsibilities Updates BPI WEALTH's AML compliance matrix of laws and regulations as well as the assessment of the components of the Compliance Matrix and Self-Assessment Review Conducts Test-Checks on BPI WEALTH's compliance with regulations/ internal policies, etc. through a compliance matrix and Self-Assessment Review (SAR). Tracks and monitors resolution of any and all audit issues as well as preparing aging reports to determine whether these audit findings are resolved timely based on committed timelines with prior coordination with the Immediate Supervisor. Prepares reports to appropriate senior management committees such as but not limited to the BPI WEALTH Audit Committee and Board, relevant to tracking of updates/resolution of regulatory, internal and external audits as well as results/resolutions of Compliance Tests. Prepares letters as well as other forms of communication, presentations as well as collation of documents from the business units and other units of BPI WEALTH to be submitted to Bank Compliance and to Regulatory bodies Prepares presentations / briefing materials relevant to any and all audit issues affecting BPI WEALTH with prior coordination with the Immediate Supervisor Coordinates the requirements of the Internal / External Audit during its periodic examination and consolidates BPI WEALTH replies on Internal / External Audit findings / exceptions Coordinates with BPI WEALTH all requirements of the AMLC (i.e. freezing of accounts, AMLC inquiry). Conducts of MTPP Trainings and monitors compliance with the annual MTPP training of all employees through HR Training Implementation of AML, FATCA, and other pertinent BSP regulations requiring close coordination with the Line Other tasks as may be delegated from time to time Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in in Commerce / Business or Finance / Management / Accounting / Economics / Law Preferably CPA Minimum of 2-5 years relevant experience in Legal, Compliance, Risk management, Audit, Banking operations Must have understanding of relevant laws and regulations and their potential impact on the BPI WEALTH's operations/services and the principles/framework of AML/CTPF/FATCA compliance Proficiency in oral and written communication Team player and good analytical skills Show more Show less
