Manager (Indirect Tax): Tax Advisory - Job Description As a manager - Indirect Tax, duties & responsibilities will include: Managing one or more client engagements or components of large-scale projects. Developing and implementing indirect tax strategies and ensuring compliance with GST, VAT, and other indirect tax obligations while identifying opportunities for tax efficiency. Overseeing the preparation and filing of indirect tax returns. Coordinating with external tax authorities during audits. Analyzing the tax implications of business transactions and advising management. Contributing towards training to internal teams on indirect tax best practices. Playing a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders. Developing into a mentor to assist other less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development. Expertise & Qualifications To fulfil this role, the applicant will have the following attributes: Strong technical knowledge in tax compliance, advisory, and accounting standards. 4 to 5 years' experience working in a similar tax consulting or advisory environment.
