Role description: To manage and optimize database or knowledge site for easy information retrieval. To regularly review and update content to maintain quality. To implement quality control measures to ensure accurate and consistent information. Role accountabilities: Manage and maintain the database or knowledge site, ensuring the structure, organization, and taxonomy of the information are optimal for efficient retrieval and usability. Regularly review, update, and edit content to ensure accuracy, relevance, and adherence to quality standards. This includes verifying and validating data entries, correcting errors, and addressing inconsistencies. Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of information in the SharePoint site. This involves conducting audits, performing data integrity checks, and resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise. Create and maintain appropriate metadata and tagging systems to enhance searchability and categorization of information within the database. This involves assigning relevant keywords, tags, and attributes to facilitate accurate and efficient retrieval of data. Work closely with content creators, subject matter experts, and other stakeholders to gather and incorporate new information into the database. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration and data sharing across different platforms or systems. Provide support and assistance to users accessing the database, including responding to queries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding them in utilizing the available resources effectively. Develop and maintain documentation, guidelines, and training materials for database users, ensuring they understand how to navigate and leverage the system effectively. Implement and enforce data security protocols to protect sensitive information stored in the database. Adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, such as data privacy and confidentiality, in handling and managing data. Stay updated with emerging technologies, best practices, and industry trends related to database management and content maintenance. Identify opportunities for process enhancements and propose strategies to improve the overall usability and value of the database. Perform adhoc duties as required Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Library Science, Office Administration, Business Administration or any related field. At least 1 year proven working experience as a Knowledge Manager Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Strong knowledge and experience in database management and information organization Proficiency in data validation and quality assurance techniques Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information Strong attention to detail Effective communication and collaboration abilities Ability to juggle multiple projects at once Ability to work under multiple tight deadlines and respond to last minute requests and compressed production schedules.
