Role: PermanentWhat this position is about - Purpose:You will lead the overall management of merchandising strategies, plans, and activities for the General Trade/Modern Trade channels nationwide. The Merchandising Specialist is responsible for the implementation of merchandising strategies, guidelines, agencies, and campaigns.What will you do - Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall development and implementation of all merchandising plans for the assigned area and/or channel in close coordination with Brand, Field Marketing and Sales Teams, in accordance with the national merchandising objectives and strategies, and assigned area and/or channel strategies
- Develop effective, innovative, and disruptive merchandising and communication materials, concepts, ideas and solutions.
- Develop POSM mix, allocation plan, and Picture of Success per area and/or channel; and determine proper area selection and coverage plan per activation based on area objectives, strategies, and insights
- Facilitate production and deployment of all POSM and merchandising materials and ensure correct forecasting and healthy POSM inventories for all branches and warehouses
- Develop efficient merchandising monitoring dashboards and reports from Sales and TPA that includes progressive execution monitoring, POSM utilization and inventory, and competitive activities.
- Manage overall assigned budgets for all merchandising programs in assigned area and/or channel
- Manage and facilitate all local merchandising and POSM requests from field teams
- Provide inputs in driving improvement in operational processes (from planning, development, materials forecasting and inventory management, production, deployment, and activity monitoring) that would result in improved speed to market and reduced cycle time.
- Work and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders (finance, procurement, brand teams, field teams, agencies, and suppliers) from planning and development to execution and monitoring
- Perform on-time processing of all administrative tasks required in completing and successfully implementing projects (PR/PO, GR/IR etc.)
- A college graduate
- At least 3 years or more of relevant experience in an FMCG or large multinational company - in a similar Marketing & Sales function
- Experience in handling Trade Activations and merchandising
- Knowledgeable in Merchandising, Project Management, Budget Management and Execution planning
- Skilled in Stakeholder Coordination and Management
- Fluent in both oral and written English communication
- Results-oriented with a high level of competence
- Has strong interpersonal skills and possesses the ability to positively influence and collaborate with different kinds of people
- Excellent planning and organization skills
- A driven and accountable professional
- Proficient in using MS Office applications
