Department: Production
Location: JTI Malvar, Batangas
Reporting to: Department ManagerAre you a skilled machinist with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? Join our dynamic team as a Workshop Machinist and bring high-quality components to life. In this role, you'll operate advanced tools and machinery to produce critical parts, collaborate with engineers, and play a vital role in ensuring production excellence.WHAT YOU WILL DO:
  • Operate and maintain machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and schematicsInspect parts to meet precision standards and tolerancesPerform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on equipmentEnsure compliance with safety protocols, engineering standards, and EHS guidelinesSet up and calibrate machinery for production runsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve equipment issues and support continuous improvement projectsLiaise with external service providers and ensure contracts and system changes follow required processesYOU ARE:
  • College diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in machining is a plus
3+ years of machining experience in a workshop or manufacturing settingProficient in precision measurement, hand and power toolsFamiliarity with PLC, SCADA, HMI systems is a plusStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot machine issuesExcellent teamwork, communication, and time management skills.Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.Are you ready to join us?
