The ideal candidate will have experience managing both a production facility and a team. They should be able to analyze each step of the manufacturing process and make effective use of resources to deliver desired outcomes. The candidate will also have an ability to follow safety and compliance guidelines diligently in order to create a healthy work environment for all employees. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day plant operations including production, maintenance, quality, and safety. Ensure that production targets are met in terms of volume, quality, cost, and schedule. Manage a multidisciplinary team including supervisors, operators, and support staff. Implement and monitor compliance with food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, GMP). Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and waste reduction initiatives. Coordinate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and other departments to support production schedules and inventory needs. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and prepare regular reports for senior management. Lead and instill a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence within the plant. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Industrial Management, or a related field. At least 8-10 years of experience in manufacturing operations, with 5 years in a leadership role (preferably in food/FMCG). Strong knowledge of production processes, quality systems, and equipment maintenance. Familiarity with regulatory and food safety compliance (FDA, HACCP, GMP, etc.). Excellent leadership, people management, and problem-solving skills. Willing to be based full-time in Talisayan, Zamboanga City.
