Program Coordinator

• Responsible for complete oversight (management, planning, monitoring and evaluation) of ecological enhancement program projects and activities and other programs assigned.
• Oversee over-all operation of ecological enhancement programs and other projects assigned.
• Establish supervision and control systems for program/project activities and project implementation with emphasis on participatory approaches.
• For each activity, review the project progress, making recommendations for changes or improvement to ensure achievement of project objectives.
• Devise a set of initiatives to stimulate formation or strengthening of functional People Organizations; assist staff and beneficiaries in preparing development plans, set priorities, and determine the processes for implantation of the projects.
• Report on the effectiveness of the program/project implementation.
• Establish and maintain cordial working relationship with the local government units, government and donor/funding agencies.
• In conjunction with the technical consultant and city/municipal engineering office, or other appropriate agencies, monitor engineering works of specific projects (i.e. water systems, fencing) with particular attention to the work standards.
• Manage/conduct trainings defined and approved by donor agencies for specific programs/projects.
• Conceptualize/review/prepare project proposals for donor agencies consistent with JVOFI thrusts.
• Negotiate with donor agencies on counterpart and other requirements.
• Conduct/prepare designs for socioeconomic data collection and appropriate benchmarks for program/project impact evaluation.
• Prepare/review/recommend downstream management.
• Represent the Foundation in LGU special bodies and various external meetings related to programs and projects.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Deputy Director.
