The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with minimal guidance and will take ownership of the technical aspects of the site.What you’ll be doing:

Update and maintain the company’s existing website
Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
Manage and update content across WordPress sites using page builders
Build and customize Shopify stores, including themes and templates
Develop custom Shopify apps or modify existing ones
Troubleshoot website bugs or issues and keep the site up to date
Recommend modernizations based on UX/UI best practices
Collaborate with cross-functional teams
Provide status updates and documentation
Stay updated with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in web development

Qualifications and Requirements:

3-5 years of experience in web development
Communication skills: B2 minimum, but C1 highly preferred
Comfortable working directly with international teams
Proficient in WordPress, Shopify, or similar CMS platforms
Proactive, reliable, and strong communication habits
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Clear communicator who can explain technical tasks simply
Can work in the Eastern Standard Time Zone
