Role OverviewWe are looking for an Android Developer to build high-quality, scalable, and secure mobile applications for a banking environment. The role requires strong technical expertise, attention to performance, and the ability to deliver under tight timelines.Key Responsibilities

Translate user stories into functional mobile applications
Design and develop rich, user-centric interfaces aligned with product goals
Collaborate with designers and engineers (web and mobile) to deliver engaging UI/UX
Produce high-quality code within aggressive timelines
Ensure optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and implement effective solutions
Maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Conduct unit testing to ensure code performs as designed
Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field
Experience in Android development using Java and Kotlin
Proven experience building high-performance, scalable mobile applications with rich UI
Strong knowledge of Android OS, UI components, SDK, and Android Studio
Understanding of mobile performance, latency, and security principles
Experience with performance optimization and analysis tools
Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience with Firebase, Fastlane, CI/CD tools
Strong knowledge of APIs and integration technologies (REST, JSON, XML, microservices)
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
Self-starter with a continuous learning mindset

Preferred Qualifications

Background in backend or web application development
Experience with advanced UI concepts
Exposure to Cloud Native Infrastructure, DevSecOps, and Microservices Architecture
