- Represent the company externally, building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders including clients, regulators, industry associations, and the broader community.
- Oversee the development and implementation of business strategies to drive growth, sales, profitability, and market share.
- Lead the management team in the execution of operational plans, ensuring effective resource allocation and alignment with business objectives.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory developments to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Drive the development and execution of marketing and branding initiatives to enhance the company's visibility and reputation in the market.
- Manage the company's client portfolio, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
- Oversee financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure the company meets its financial targets.
- Champion a strong corporate governance framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Ensure internal growth and harmony within the company’s employees with the focus on self-development, continuous improvement of skills and business continuity.
- At least 5 – 10 years of high management experience in the financial services, conglomerates, or insurance sectors.
- A focus on insurance or related fields preferred but not required.
- Proven track record of success in executive leadership roles, with experience in driving growth and profitability.
- Preferably a strong understanding of insurance industry dynamics, products, and regulatory environment.
- Must have a good grasp of financials – not necessarily from finance but he/she needs to be good at numbers.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans and initiatives.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve common goals.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and navigate ambiguity with resilience and adaptability.
- Candidates from financial services, director level above, or senior manager level above from conglomerates with high potential to take on the role are encouraged to apply.
- Preferably someone who is aggressive and up to the challenge, smart, hardworking and likeable.
