This role is fully onsite in Cebu and will be responsible for validating software functionality, maintaining testing standards, and ensuring the overall quality of our applications. The role involves both manual and automated testing for web and backend systems. Key Responsibilities: Review requirements and create detailed test plans, scripts, and procedures Perform functional, regression, and system testing Execute automated and manual tests across multiple platforms Log defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues Analyze and improve QA processes and testing efficiency Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field 3-7 years of QA/software testing experience Strong knowledge in Java, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, and QA tools Experience testing Java-based web and backend applications Exposure to Agile or Rapid development environments Familiarity with defect management tools (e.g., HP ALM, Bugzilla)
