About The Job HR Warehouse Assistant Manager The HR Warehouse Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing all human resource functions related to warehouse operations. This includes ensuring effective staffing, fostering positive employee relations, and maintaining compliance with labor laws. The role is essential for supporting operational efficiency within the warehouse environment and bridges HR strategy with the unique needs of a fast-paced logistics or warehousing setup. Key Responsibilities Recruitment and Staffing: Develop and execute manpower plans specific to warehouse operations. Oversee warehouse recruitment staffing and process Employee Relations And Engagement Serve as the main point of contact for warehouse employees regarding HR-related concerns. Mediate and resolve conflicts or employee grievances in compliance with company policy. Promote a positive work environment through tailored employee engagement activities. HR Operations And Compliance Ensure HR policies and practices comply with local labor laws and company standards. Manage personnel files, contracts, and incident reports for warehouse staff. Lead or support audits related to labor, safety, or HR practices. Performance Management Assist supervisors in setting KPIs and evaluating warehouse staff performance. Facilitate performance appraisals and recommend retention or disciplinary actions. HR Metrics And Reporting Generate reports on manpower status, turnover, absenteeism, and disciplinary actions. Analyze HR trends specific to warehouse operations to support continuous improvement. Collaboration Work closely with the Warehouse Management Team to ensure smooth and efficient operations aligned with overall business goals. Manage and coordinate with third-party manpower agencies for warehouse staff hiring and ensure SLA&aposs are being met Qualifications Bachelors degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Industrial Engineering, or related field. At least 10 years of HR experience, with 3 years in a warehouse or manufacturing setup. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Problem-solving abilities and decision-making under pressure. Effective communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams. Strong knowledge of labor laws and workplace compliance standards. Excellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills. Preferably with experience in Unions.
