Apply now!Learn more:Reporting to: Purchasing Operations Center Process ManagerDuty Post: JTI GBS Manila (McKinley West, Taguig City)Role: Fixed-term (12 months)Purchasing Operations SpecialistThe job involves validating and processing purchase requests and orders, managing vendor communications, and ensuring compliance with policies while meeting KPIs. Additionally, it includes supporting system optimization, performing JSOX controls, handling ad-hoc tasks, and participating in projects.As the Purchasing Operations Specialist in GBS Manila, you will be responsible for:

Validate and process purchase requests and orders, manage vendor communications, and handle invoice queries.
Process high volumes of PR/PO creation in SAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies.
Address non-compliant documents while meeting KPIs and SLAs.
Organize workload to meet daily targets and support the P2P team.
Propose and support process and system improvements for optimization and automation.
Perform JSOX controls, escalate failures, and handle ad-hoc tasks and projects.

Requirements:

University degree (Business or Finance)
Proven experience of working in a Purchasing, Finance / budgeting position Proven ability to process high volumes with high accuracy to tight / moving deadlines; Experience of working with Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and Service Level Agreements (SLA's); Experience in a Shared Service Centers is a plus.
Strong command of English Language. Knowledge of languages of the markets within the GBS scope is a plus.
Understand Purchase to Pay (P2P) end to end processes; Structured with attention to details Customer-centric Strong analytical skills; Able to support process improvements initiatives; Able to recommend solutions for problems; Able to make decisions under pressure, work to tight deadlines; Proficient SAP User; Proficient Microsoft Excel user; Support Team objectives.
