Conducts user acceptance testing of assigned projects and performs maintenance of some Accounting systems. Prepares regulatory reports accurately and ensures that reportorial requirements are always met. Ensures that the bank's policies and procedures are followed in the preparation of reports Prepares the reconciliation of handled accounts. Ensures that all float items are adjusted within the allowable number of float days and long outstanding items are elevated to Senior/Junior Accounting Officer and BSP Reports Team Lead accordingly. Prepares adjustments and entries to be posted in FRP, FBEQ and Oracle ERP Prepares report specifications and conducts user testing of reports for automation Performs process review and improvement through updating manuals and Service Level Agreement (SLA) Ensures that controls to mitigate risks are being observed in all work processes being performed by conducting annual assessment of risk Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS Bachelor&aposs Degree in Accountancy, Finance, any course with accounting units, or a related field. At least 1 - 4 years of work experience. Preferably with knowledge of Financial reporting/Regulatory reporting/Business/Accounting Preferably with experience in preparing financial reports and with exposure to the financial services industry, preferably with backgrounds in banking or similar institutions.
