JOB PURPOSE: This job works in the Laboratory for the density & adhesion test and provides technical support in the physical performance of the Polyurethane Line. Plays a crucial role in supporting the production, testing, and quality control of polyurethane materials (Incoming and Outgoing products) JOB SCOPE: Manufacturing Support Conducts technical qualification of the raw materials and products (also imported PU). Reactivity test or bag shot for every change in chemical system Density test on a per customer's requirement Adhesion test on a per chemical system or skin material used Lapping gap monitoring for every production per shift Assist in the formulation and preparation of polyurethane chemicals, including isocyanates and polyols. Recommends classification of coils & PU products based on actual condition & limitations Investigates non-conforming products, customer complaint and or product returns. Participates in the conduct of trial for alternative material, new formulation/new product. Provides technical support to CTS & Sales during site inspection. Use laboratory equipment such as viscometers, tensile testers, and gas chromatographs to perform tests like density, hardness, and reaction time. Operate, maintain, and monitor chemical processing equipment, such as mixers, reactors, and dispensing machines. Prepare reports on production efficiency, material usage, and quality control outcomes New Products Participates on product reviews and risk analysis. Participates in developing and documenting Quality Plan to support new products. Participates in developing tools and techniques to measure pertinent product parameters to assure product compliance to company and government standards. QUALITY, ENVIRONMENTAL AND OH&S RESPONSIBILITIES Conducts plant and warehouse visits to assess quality systems and do Safety Observations Supports and demonstrates ownership of health and safety in his/her own area of responsibility Ensure proper handling, storage, and mixing of raw materials according to safety protocols. Assist in updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety documentation. QUALIFICATIONS: College graduate any course (can also be two years vocational course) With at least two (2) years technical work experience in a manufacturing plant. SKILLS & COMPETENCIES: Proficient in written and oral communication skills Demonstrates a degree in computer literacy especially in Microsoft Office applications With awareness on ISO 19011:2011, ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 Good customer service skills.
