Data Engineer

• You will provide support for application data needs and data models to ensure robust and scalable solutions.
• You will collect and integrate data from multiple sources, including databases, APIs, external providers, and streaming platforms.
• You will design and implement efficient data pipelines that enable reliable data movement and transformation.
• You will manage data storage and choose appropriate database systems while optimizing data schemas and ensuring data quality, integrity, scalability, and performance for large-scale datasets.
• You will work semi-independently toward defined objectives, collaborating with supervisors and stakeholders to deliver stable, working solutions.
• You will begin to build customer relationships through consistent solution delivery and follow-up.
• You will apply strong organizational, communication, and time management skills to complete tasks with minimal errors and within deadlines.
• You will actively participate as a team member by practicing effective listening, collaboration, and shared problem-solving.

• You must have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or related discipline
• You have 5-7 years of experience applying modern information technology to business operations.
• You have solid experience managing SQL databases, including setting permissions, managing user access, and administering security controls.
• You have strong expertise in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes for data transformation and migration.
• You have hands-on experience with PL/SQL and custom applications on Oracle databases.
• You have worked with distributed database architectures and implemented database links effectively.
• You have familiarity with Microsoft reporting tools and Excel Macros for automation.
• You have intermediate-level Python skills that support data handling and automation tasks.
• You are fluent in SQL and capable of writing queries using LINQ or similar query languages.
• You are proficient in understanding and optimizing query performance and indexing strategies.
• You have experience working with AWS, which is considered a plus.
• You are familiar with data science algorithms and basic artificial intelligence concepts.
• You have strong communication skills and can articulate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
