What you'll do: As a Senior Website Developer , you will be responsible in website maintenance, undertaking ad hoc development tasks, leveraging platform expertise, implementing SEO optimization strategies, and fostering effective communication and collaboration within the team. Key responsibilities for this role include: Website Maintenance Perform routine updates and maintenance tasks on existing websites as per request from clients Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to website functionality and performance for inhouse and external websites Maintain and develop the Zib Digital domains including an upcoming brand refresh Ad Hoc Development Assist in the development of new website features and functionalities Collaborate with the design team to implement visually appealing and user-friendly landing pages for clients and Zib Digital domains Platform Expertise Utilise your expertise in WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix to modify and optimise websites Stay informed about platform updates and incorporate new features into existing projects SEO Optimisation Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility and search engine rankings in line with our SEO team and recommendations across client portfolio and Zib Digital domains Conduct website audits with SEO best practice in mind, including using tools such as lighthouse Collaborate with the design team to create SEO specific landing pages Communication & Collaboration Communicate effectively with digital managers to understand their requirements and provide timely updates on project progress Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery Successful candidates must have: 5 years of hands-on experience in website development Proficiency in WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, and Wix Understanding of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Some SEO knowledge a must
