The Opportunity We are looking for a proactive and experienced HR Generalist to join our growing team in Manila, Philippines . The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of hands-on HR experience and a strong understanding of local employment laws and HR operations. This individual will play a key role in managing the full spectrum of HR functions, contributing to a positive employee experience, and supporting the business in achieving its people-related goals. Key Responsibilities HR Operations & Compliance Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including HR administration, personnel file management, and HRIS updates. Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and company policies, including employee contracts and disciplinary actions. Liaise with government agencies (SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, DOLE) for statutory requirements and employee contributions. Manage employee data and prepare HR reports and documentation as needed. Payroll & Benefits Coordinate with finance/payroll providers to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing. Administer employee benefits and statutory compliance programs. Handle payroll-related queries and ensure proper documentation and reporting. Employee Relations & Engagement Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, and conflict resolution. Support employee engagement initiatives and wellness programs. Facilitate onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure a smooth employee experience. Performance Management & Development Coordinate the performance appraisal cycle and provide guidance to managers and employees Support training and development initiatives in alignment with organizational goals. Identify opportunities for improvement in talent development and retention strategies. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business, or related field. Minimum 5 years of solid experience in HR functions, preferably in a fast-paced or growing organization. Strong working knowledge of Philippine labor laws and statutory regulations. Experience managing payroll and government contributions. Proficient in HRIS and payroll systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving, time management, and organizational abilities. Able to work independently and manage multiple HR functions simultaneously. Show more Show less
