- Ensures the overall efficiency in the daily supervision of the various operations of the Front Office including the handling of enquiries and documentation of transactions.
- Plans and executes control departmental budget.
- Maintains detailed knowledge of the hotels services and hours of operation.
- Operate all aspects of the Hotel Management System, including Property Management software (PMS) maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changes.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of the room rates, types of rooms, corporate rates, package plans, and hotel facilities.
- Respond to guest inquiries regarding rates and availability. Assists in answering inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, and shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel direction
- Prepare revenue and occupancy forecasting.
- Ensure implementation of all hotel policies and house rules.
- Wear the proper uniform at all times. Requires all front office employees to wear proper uniforms at all times.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
