This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the ropes of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and master modern testing methodologies.Key Responsibilities
- Execute Test Plans: Perform manual functional, regression, and usability testing on web and mobile applications.
- Bug Reporting: Identify, document, and track software defects using tools like Jira or GitLab Issues.
- Automation Learning: Assist in writing and maintaining basic automated test scripts (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright).
- Collaboration: Participate in sprint planning and "bug triage" meetings to provide feedback on new features.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise test cases and documentation for new features.
- Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Analytical Mindset: You enjoy breaking things to understand how they work (and how to fix them).
- Communication: Strong written and verbal skills—you can explain complex technical issues in simple terms.
- Growth Orientation: A self-starter who is eager to learn new tools and testing frameworks.
- Experience with SQL or basic database queries.
- Familiarity with GitLab.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
