Nemco Design is seeking a skilled and innovative Web Designer / Developer on a contractual basis to enhance our existing website and bring it up to modern design and performance standards. This role is ideal for someone who's up to date with the latest digital trends, understands user experience, and can suggest smart improvements - including AI integrations. We're open to either improving the current site or rebuilding it from scratch, depending on your expert recommendations. The goal is to elevate the user experience, functionality, and visual appeal - while retaining our existing domain name. Your Main Tasks Review and improve the current website (design, layout, performance, responsiveness) Recommend and implement new features aligned with UX best practices Integrate relevant AI tools (e.g., content automation, chatbots, smart search) Ensure SEO optimization and faster load times Provide optional after-sales maintenance and technical support on request What We're Looking For Strong portfolio of modern, mobile-responsive websites Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms (Webflow, WordPress, etc.) Creative eye for layout, typography, and UX Experience with AI tools and web integrations Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and communicate clearly Familiarity with branding, graphic design tools, animation or motion UI is a plus Contract Details Fixed project scope with negotiable fee (based on experience and timeline) Timeline: Estimated 4-8 weeks depending on scope Optional retainer for ongoing maintenance and updates post-launch https://www.nemcodesign.com.au Show more Show less
