Pharmacy Assistant

• Receive and process prescriptions: Accurately enter prescription information into the pharmacy computer system, verify patient information, and prepare medications for dispensing.

• Dispense medications: Accurately count, measure, and label medications according to prescription instructions.

• Maintain inventory: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records of all medications, including ordering, receiving, and stocking.

• Provide customer service: Assist patients with questions regarding their medications, insurance coverage, and other pharmacy-related matters.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment: Ensure the pharmacy is clean, organized, and properly stocked at all times.

• Assist with other duties as assigned: May be required to perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist-in-Charge, such as data entry, filing, and assisting with administrative tasks.
