We're seeking a talented Video Editor to join our client's team at a digital marketing agency. As a Video Editor, you'll convert raw footage into captivating video content, bringing our client's brand message to life. Your mastery of video editing software, coupled with your creative flair, will be key in producing top-notch videos. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, excels in video editing techniques, and is passionate about storytelling through visuals.Work schedule
  • 10 hours per week subject to scale based on client needs
  • You will follow a predefined weekly meeting cadence to synchronize with the client's schedule and maintain regular communication
  • Flexible working schedule while adhering to turn around time and deadlines
Responsibilities
  • Edit raw video footage and create compelling and visually appealing videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, advertisements, and other promotional materials.
  • Collaborate with the client to understand project goals, target audience, and desired outcomes.
  • Trim, rearrange, and enhance footage to create cohesive and seamless video sequences.
  • Apply video effects, transitions, and animations to enhance visual appeal and storytelling.
  • Ensure video content aligns with brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel.
  • Incorporate feedback and make revisions based on internal and client input.
  • Select and integrate appropriate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to enhance the overall video experience.
  • Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, techniques, and software advancements.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Video Editor or in a similar role for at least 1 year
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Preferably with strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of video editing projects and assets
  • Solid understanding of video editing principles, storytelling, and visual composition.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think critically and problem-solve.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
