Job Description Mission of Function: Responsible for the successful implementation and execution of strategic sourcing and contracting strategies, processes, and activities. This role integrates and leverages spend and opportunities across facilities, collaborating with various stakeholders to deliver significant savings and efficient operational services in support of company objectives. Responsibilities: Implement opportunity identification and analysis by collaborating with stakeholders, ensuring contracting plans align with management strategies and goals. Collaborate with the analytics team to utilize spend, commodity, and market data to identify opportunities for savings and operational efficiency. Conduct supply chain risk analysis to ensure continuity of supply and mitigate identified risks. Identify suitable suppliers and develop sourcing strategies based on data analysis. Engage technical, legal, and commercial teams during the contracting process. Create and recommend contract terms and templates, drafting contracts based on technical specifications, scope of work, and risk analysis. Prepare, recommend, and/or coordinate negotiation strategies with the technical and legal teams, leading contract negotiations. Secure stakeholder positions (insurance, logistics, finance, safety, and environment teams) to ensure contracts and negotiation plans are well-prepared. Analyze spend, market conditions, and supplier profiles to support sourcing, contracting, and negotiation strategies. Prepare negotiation envelopes-desired outcomes, acceptable agreements, and alternatives. Conduct financial evaluations of bids, validate technical assessments, and recommend award and negotiation strategies. Manage contract roll-outs to ensure stakeholder alignment on major contracts. Maintain professional relationships with suppliers, resolving delivery, payment, and contractual issues. Support vendor performance reviews and identify gaps in sourcing or supplier management. Regularly communicate plans and progress to the Supply Chain Management (SCM) sector to ensure alignment and promote cost reduction strategies. Work with Procurement Operations and Supply Chain teams to ensure execution aligns with procurement goals. Review, analyze, and execute contract renewals, renegotiations, or resourcing activities. Support various SCM teams in achieving their targets and objectives. Minimum Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in Supply Chain Management (SCM) or related fields Bachelor's degree in any 4-year business-related, behavioral science course, or technical field (engineering preferred) Engineering or technical background is preferred Project experience required Project Management and Supply Risk Management experience Show more Show less
