- Accountable for leading the execution of operational People activities inan employee’s lifecycle (hire to retire).
- Support the implementation and embedding of regional and global HR strategies, plans and initiatives.
- Encourage the effective and ongoing use of talent management and performance management systems.
- Take a lead role in leveraging People support teams to ensure services are delivered by appropriate teams.
- Conduct short training or walkthrough sessions in processes or in the use of Workday as needed.
- Support leaders and other overseas staff to ensure the successful recruitment and onboarding of all new and relocated employees to ensure they feel welcomed and valued, connected to Aurecon and able to contribute.
- Provide induction support. Facilitate welcome sessions for new starters and ensure smooth transfers occur, leveraging the appropriate internal teams. • Manage the staff exit process, including the administering of exit interviews and analysis of interview data, and make recommendations to management for corrective action.
- Support leaders and Team Leaders in annual performance review exercises by being the focal contact of the process.
- Increase the understanding and effectiveness of leaders in delivering desired people outcomes via People policies and/or processes and ensure compliance to company policies and processes and legislative requirements.
- Responsible for the analysis and application of HR information to assist leaders with making evidence-based decisions.
- Proactively contribute to the development, implementation and monitoring of policies and procedures based on relevant legislation and contemporary People management practices which provide a consistent approach across the Region and Aurecon.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current industry trends, legislation and best practice and provide training and coaching to leaders where required, including updates on People policies and programs.
- At least 6 years of experience as an HR practitioner with 3 years in an HR Generalist role
- Knowledge in Asia employment legislation and interpretation
- Shared Service environment experience
- Stakeholder management/communications skills
