Job Title: Cafe Manager Location: Warabimochi Kamakura, SM Aura Reports To: General Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: Warabimochi Kamakura is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead the launch and daily operations of our new store location. The Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store management, including supervising assistant caf managers and front-line staff, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, and driving operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills to successfully guide the team and maintain the brand's high standards. Key Responsibilities: Leadership & Team Management Supervise and support Assistant Caf Managers, providing guidance and ensuring effective delegation of tasks. Coach, mentor, and develop team members to create a positive, motivated, and high-performing store culture. Manage staff scheduling, payroll, and attendance, ensuring adequate coverage at all times. Operational Excellence Ensure smooth daily operations, including inventory management, cleanliness, food quality control, and customer service. Monitor and maintain product quality, presentation, and store ambiance consistent with brand standards. Enforce compliance with food safety regulations, store policies, and health guidelines. Customer Experience Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and hospitality. Handle escalated customer concerns or feedback with professionalism and prompt resolution. Sales & Performance Monitoring Analyze daily/weekly/monthly store performance metrics (sales, customer feedback, inventory costs) and implement improvement plans. Identify and implement strategies to increase sales, reduce costs, and optimize operations. Reporting & Communication Regularly report performance, staffing, and operational updates to the Area Manager or Head Office. Serve as the communication bridge between the store and corporate leadership. Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in caf , food & beverage, or retail management. Experience opening or launching a new store preferred. Proven leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage diverse teams. Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS systems.
