What's The Role All About As a Security Officer at PALex, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding our operations by managing and overseeing security protocols related to aviation security. You will be responsible for conducting investigations, threat assessments, and coordinating security measures that ensure the safety of our facilities, personnel, and assets. This role demands a detail-oriented, analytical professional who can handle complex security challenges in a dynamic environment and collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Major Responsibilities: Investigate incidents involving threats or security breaches and determine root causes and preventive actions. Provide intelligence support including security assessments, briefings, and reports for management. Supervise threat assessments and risk management across various PALex stations and facilities. Manage covert operations and personnel background investigations to protect company interests. Liaise with government and private sector security agencies to maintain an effective network. Participate in security coverage for company events including VVIP and inaugural flights. Oversee evaluation and proper disposal of sensitive security documents as per regulatory standards. Implement and continuously improve PALex Security Management System (SeMS) to meet regulatory and company standards. Manage security service providers through audits, performance reviews, and security tests. Prepare and manage security budgets and service billings. Conduct regular security trainings and stay updated on aviation authority regulations. Ensure compliance with PALex safety and security protocols and actively report workplace hazards or incidents. Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security. Who Are We Looking For Bachelor's degree holder. Minimum 4 years of experience in airline industry or aviation security. Experience in court settings and military background is recommended. Strong technical knowledge of military, police, or security procedures and practices. Basic Aviation Security Training Program (STP 123) certification required. Preferably trained in ICAO or IATA aviation security courses. Knowledge of Cyber Security is an advantage. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in MS Office and skilled in both written and oral communication.
