You will work closely with internal stakeholders while managing a Salesforce Administrator, ensuring that both technical execution and day-to-day operations are aligned with broader business goals.This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who can both build and guide - combining strong Salesforce development capabilities with product thinking, prioritisation, and project ownership. You will be responsible for identifying gaps, pushing initiatives forward, and ensuring Salesforce evolves into a scalable, high-performing system that supports growth.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys taking ownership, driving clarity in ambiguous environments, and delivering both technical and commercial impact.Key Responsibilities:Own and manage the Salesforce platform end-to-end, including performance, scalability, and data qualityAct as the primary point of ownership for Salesforce across the businessPrioritise and manage Salesforce-related projects, ensuring alignment with business goalsLead and manage a Salesforce Administrator, providing direction, oversight, and supportDevelop and maintain custom Salesforce solutions using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)Design and maintain scalable CRM architecture and workflowsIdentify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities across data and system processesDrive improvements in data quality, hygiene, and usability across the platformOversee data enrichment, ingestion, and automation workflowsManage integrations between Salesforce and external toolsCollaborate closely with leadership, operations, and data teams to align prioritiesTroubleshoot and resolve issues in a live production environmentBuild systems, documentation, and processes to support long-term scalabilityContinuously improve system performance while reducing technical debtExperience leading or mentoring technical resourcesRequirementsExcellent spoken and written English5+ years of experience working with Salesforce (Development + System Ownership)Strong experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL/SOSL, and integrationsProven experience taking ownership of Salesforce or CRM systems in a business environmentExperience managing or working closely with Salesforce AdministratorsStrong product or systems-thinking mindset - able to prioritise and drive initiativesAbility to balance hands-on technical work with strategic oversightStrong understanding of Salesforce data architecture, governance, and best practicesExperience working in live production environmentsStrong problem-solving and debugging capabilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities and push projects forward independentlyHigh attention to detail, especially around data accuracy and system reliabilityFamiliarity with data enrichment or scraping tools (e.g. Apify or similar) is a plusMust be able to work in alignment with Sydney, Australia business hoursFast and reliable internet connection; your own laptop or desktop suitable for the role; a quiet working environmentBenefitsCompetitive salary based on experiencePerformance-based bonus tied to outcomesDirect employment with established, high-growth companiesOpportunity to own and shape Salesforce and CRM systems end-to-endWork with global, high-quality clientsClear progression into leadership roles as the business scales.
