- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities within the HORECA sector for targeted dairy and processed meat ingredients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
- Independently prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate pricing, and close sales deals.
- Manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation through to post-sales support.
- Provide technical expertise on ingredient usage and functionality in dairy and meat product formulations.
- Support customers with application development, prototyping, and on-site or lab-based product trials.
- Lead product demonstrations, contribute to open houses, ideation sessions, and roadshows.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on laboratory equipment to ensure readiness for trials.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including project briefs, formulations, and technical reports.
- Troubleshoot formulation or production challenges in collaboration with customer technical teams.
- Ensure successful integration and performance of ingredients in customer manufacturing processes.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging customer requirements.
- Provide structured feedback and reports on sales activities, customer insights, and growth opportunities.
- Suggest new product ideas or service improvements based on customer and market intelligence.
- Work closely with internal departments (sales admin, logistics, warehouse, procurement, finance) to ensure smooth order processing and fulfillment.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to product availability, delivery timelines, or quality concerns.
- Ensure accurate documentation and timely follow-up on customer orders, product trials, and technical support requests.
- Undertake additional duties or special projects assigned by management in line with overall business objectives.
- Continuously support the business in driving sales and technical promotion of clients blends, premixes, spices, dairy, coffee, nuts, and related ingredient solutions within the clients product portfolio.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-year experience in technical sales, preferably in the food ingredients or HORECA sector.
- Strong understanding of dairy and processed meat formulation and production processes.
- Proven ability to manage technical product trials and provide hands-on application support.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel locally or regionally as required.
