Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM Enterprise Capabilities is seeking a talented and experienced Design Manager - Data Centers to be based in Manila, Philippines office.The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Identify, onboard, and offboard design resources in coordination with department leadership (as needed to support project execution)
  • Lead data center core and shell due diligence and design projects (including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, security, and fire protection for greenfield and add/move/change projects) from start to finish
  • Design and design management support to our global internal clients
  • Quality, hours and budget control within delegated workshare
  • Oversee and maintain responsibility for project basis of design and localization process.
  • Establish and oversee a process to detect, track and resolve scope changes, errors, or inconsistencies throughout the design process.
  • Manage and grow AECOM's data center design team, fostering a sense of comradery, collective ownership, and collaboration.
  • Identify problems early and develop creative solutions.
  • Develop trusting relationships with client stakeholders.
  • Oversee preparation of project administration documents.
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, plus ten (10) years of relevant experience in design and/or project management or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
  • Active or recent leadership in data center and mission-critical trade organization
  • Excellent communication in English (written/oral).
