DescriptionThe Information and Communications Technology Director is responsible with the provision of vision and technical leadership seeking to deliver technologies to meet the Institute's business needs and identify new opportunities for further growth. As a functional head, he/she will be responsible for the Institute's technology strategy and implementation. As a business leader, the CIO will direct the continuous improvement of the Institute's business processes and IT infrastructure to achieve a more efficient and valuable use of technology-based investments.

Education

Graduate of Computer Science, Electronics and Communications Engineering, Information Science and other related degrees.

Minimum experience

At least 12-15 years of relevant work experience in IT Management, Project Management, Business Transformation in a complex organization and/or strategic business unit; Broad experience in managing IT and implementing systems in organizations of comparable size

Excellent strategic thinking, planning and execution skills including the ability to anticipate the technology, process and organization implications and identify strategic challenges and priorities
Proven ability to manage the people and process challenges associated with a rapidly growing organization
Demonstrated ability to lead an organization through major changes and maintain momentum with the ability to inspire continuous focus on key business drivers and functional deliverables
Possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills, and understand the implications various actions will have on the strategic, financial and organizational demands of a rapidly evolving organization
Possess an exceptional level of intellectual, professional, and interpersonal agility and flexibility, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong IT governance, business acumen and project management skills

Plans, develops, directs, coordinates, and maintains and IT infrastructure, architecture, and program that support the Institute's commitment to using IT effectively and efficiently in an integrated manner.
Expands the IT capabilities to all levels of the management information via user-friendly access to school/administration system data using information warehouse techniques; develops and maintains IT standards to ensure that all IT users can be creative and effective in a controlled environment.
Directs the daily operation of team and sub-units reports to his/her office to assure efficient implementation, manages new and existing applications development projects.
Designs and maintains a roadmap of projects to meet critical business objectives, taking advantage of trend and new technology where appropriate
Holds responsibility for IT governance of platform & services, including telecommunications, networks, infrastructure, engineering, media and architecture
Ensures uninterrupted delivery of IT services by defining and managing against service level agreements with suppliers and internal agreements with end users
